I totally agree with Kelly's opinion. Like Andrew said, housing is also a big problem. However, cities concentrate more on the quality of life. For example, a city made a park, located near my university, repurposed from abandoned railroads. This park is popular with residents, especially during the spring season. They go for a walk on a long trail with blooming cherry blossoms. By converting to parks, people could take a rest and see some special scenery. It also makes people less depressed because they are frequently exposed to green spaces, which has been scientifically proven. The more green spaces they are exposed to, the more relaxed they are.
